15th July 2022 – Weddings
Written by Amy Brown
It’s safe to say that summer has arrived (or at least for now), and with it, wedding season! What could be more apt than celebrating your wedding outside in the glorious sunshine? After months of planning we are so excited to see our new Outdoor Ceremony Garden come to life! This idyllic space has been created under the graceful tree canopy of the Estate’s woodland, complete with hand built wooden gazebo and outdoor speaker system, it really is the perfect location to take your vows.
The Outdoor Ceremony Garden will be open from March to October and is licensed for Civil Ceremonies. Read our blog to find out how to book your Registrar. You’ll be able to decide if you’d like to use the space up to 72 hours before your wedding, however in the case of bad weather, the Registrar will make the final decision. We will also create bad weather option, just in case (whilst manifesting the sunshine!)
You’re welcome to decorate the oak gazebo with flowers, and drapes should you wish, so long as all décor is attached with floristry wire that can be removed afterwards. We ask that in keeping with the rest of the venue, all candles are LED. You can also attach flowers to the wooden chairs to add your own colour scheme to the space too. Why not complete the ceremony with a stunning confetti photo! Your guests are able to throw biodegradable confetti (or natural flower petals) as you set off down the aisle as newly-weds!
The space can also be used for cultural ceremonies and blessings and the gazebo used as a Mandap or Chuppah should you require. Ceremonial fire-pits are permitted with the relevant supervision. All technical equipment such as free wifi, outdoor speakers and microphones are available here too.
Wrap up the day with a romantic photo under the festoon lighting, we hope you’ll agree that this new addition to our exclusive venue hire offering is simply magical !
