With more than 15 years' experience in the events industry, Tom plays a key role in driving event sales, developing partnerships, and showcasing the diverse opportunities available across Hylands Estate. Since joining the team after relocating to Essex, he has developed a passion for connecting businesses, organisations and event organisers with one of the county's most iconic venues.

Senior Events & Sales Executive

Charlotte has over ten years of experience in the hospitality and events industry and holds a degree in Events Management. Having progressed through the team at Hylands Estate, she brings extensive experience, a strong understanding of the venue and a genuine passion for creating memorable celebrations, weddings and events. Charlotte takes pride in helping couples plan their special day, ensuring every celebration feels personal and reflects the couple’s unique vision.

Sian's career with us began as an Events Assistant shortly after university. Her commitment to excellence and extensive operational experience led her to become one of our most experienced Events Duty Managers before progressing into the Events & Weddings team.

With a wealth of venue knowledge and a genuine passion for creating memorable experiences, Sian is dedicated to guiding couples through every stage of the planning process, ensuring their vision is brought to life seamlessly.

With more than a decade of experience in the hospitality and events industry, Roseanna is passionate about helping people celebrate life's most special moments and creating unforgettable experiences. Having recently planned and celebrated her own wedding, she brings a personal understanding of the excitement, emotions, and importance of every detail that goes into a couple's special day.

Hylands Assistant Manager - Facilities & Event Operations

Luis plays a key role in the day-to-day operation of Hylands Estate, overseeing event delivery, facilities management and ensuring the venue maintains the highest standards for visitors, clients and event organisers.

With over 15 years’ experience across event operations, venue management and customer service, he works closely with teams across the estate to ensure every event runs smoothly, from weddings and corporate functions to large-scale public events. Passionate about creating exceptional experiences, Luis takes pride in maintaining the historic estate while supporting the delivery of memorable events.

 "What I enjoy most about Hylands is the variety. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities and it's rewarding to see events come together successfully while preserving and enhancing such a special venue for everyone to enjoy."

 Luis works across all areas of estate operations, supporting event teams, managing facilities and ensuring Hylands Estate continues to provide an outstanding experience for visitors, clients and the wider community.

Outside of event operations, Luis loves Hylands for its stunning photo opportunities, particularly within the beautiful Pleasure Gardens, which showcase the estate's unique character and natural beauty throughout the seasons.

Courtney

Events Duty Manager

Since university, Courtney has built a successful career in events, hospitality and theatre management, primarily in London. Now one of our dedicated Events Duty Managers, she is delighted to be working closer to home in the industry she loves.

“I love the transformation of the bride when I first see her arrive to when she walks down the aisle.”

Courtney is particularly fond of our beautiful wedding suites, which provide the perfect space for couples and their wedding parties to prepare for the big day. They have quickly become a favourite feature among the couples who use them.

Events Duty Manager

Grace started at Hylands as an Apprentice Events Duty Manager. With lots of experience already working in the events industry and at other venues, she easily completed her course and is now a fully-fledged Duty Manager.

“I love working on the big parties we have at Hylands! They create a great atmosphere and buzz.”

Grace was lucky enough to work on our first wedding in the outside wedding area! A lovely space now available to book.

Jemma

Events Duty Manager

Jemma began her journey at Hylands Estate as an Events Assistant and has since progressed to become a valued member of the Events Duty Management team. She takes pride in ensuring every event runs seamlessly, supporting couples throughout their special day and helping create a memorable experience for everyone.

“I am proud to be part of the team at the historic Hylands House, I love bringing wedding receptions to life, ensuring every detail runs smoothly so couples and their guests can relax, celebrate and unforgettable memories together.”

Jemma particularly loves overseeing the evening wedding receptions, seeing the celebrations come to life as couples and their guests take to the dance floor and enjoy their celebrations.

Events Duty Manager

Megan has worked in hospitality and theatre for the last 10 years and loves organising and overseeing events and parties. She fell in love with the wedding industry after being maid of honour at a friend’s weddings and knew this was something she wanted to be a part of.

“I love how weddings at Hylands Estate can be so diverse, and inclusive. No wedding is ever the same, and I love how they bring everyone together and there’s always a wonderful happy atmosphere.”

Victoria

Victoria joined the Hylands team as an Events Assistant and has since progressed into the role of Duty Manager, bringing a calm and creative approach to every wedding she works on. With nearly 20 years’ experience running her own cake design business, Pinkface Cakes, she understands weddings from every angle.

Her background in creativity and marketing, combined with years of working closely with couples, gives her a real eye for the details that make a day feel personal.

“I always try to go the extra mile so couples feel like the only people who matter that day.”
