A few weeks ago, earlier in the month of March as the hints of spring were starting to bloom, we were delighted to welcome the leaders in Asian lifestyle, fashion, beauty (and most importantly, weddings) – Asiana!
The beautiful, informative, and inspiring Asiana Wedding Magazine has helped over 100,000 couples plan their big day. Covering seasonal beauty and fashion trends alongside wedding planning essentials such as venues, catering, décor, real brides, and celebrity interviews, we were delighted to welcome the organisers of their latest Wedding Fair and be the host venue for 2022.

Guests that had registered to attend this exclusive event were invited to find out why Hylands Estate is one of the most sought-after wedding venues in Chelmsford, and one of the most popular in Essex for Asian weddings. Our events and weddings team were on hand to share all the essential information and inspiration needed for couples to plan their big day.

Meeting the suppliers
Experts in their field, Asiana put together a first-class programme of suppliers which were hand-picked to exhibit their services. Alongside our own experienced team, they provided couples with advice, free consultations as well as quotations for the super organised individuals ready to plan their big day.
Guests had the chance to meet a variety of suppliers including specialist Asian wedding caterers Blackstone an established and dynamic team with a reputation for producing and catering premium food and service. Local personalised cake creators Beaulieu Bakes & Cakes who have a track record for providing happy moments for the customers with their specially designed cakes. Décor for the event showcased the talents of companies such as A2Z Events who have pulling off show stopping events all over the UK for 4 years (and a regular at Hylands Estate!), and Events Décor Shop showing guests just how they earned their 5-star customer reviews.
Bringing the party and entertainment atmosphere to the occasion was DJ Vix DnB with internationally sought-after Dhol N Bass. Family orientated photography and cinematography venture Illusion proved why they are the best in the business for capturing your special day and camera. The 360 Company demonstrated their photography skills with flair, as they showed guests how they could get incredible shots with their impressive set-up.
“Be Daring! Be Envious! Be Beautiful!” were the words of creative make-up artist Jahanara who runs Jahans Beauty who was there to make guests feel like the best versions of themselves with timeless, beautiful make-up and styling. Self-taught, professional mehndi artists Mehndi by Gurps was on hand to give guests (and some staff members) beautiful mehndi designs as a lasting memory of their day at Hylands Estate. Ensuring couples bring the best version of themselves to their big day was Priya Hurkoo who runs JP Health & Wellbeing (Herbalife Nutrition).
We were delighted that our newest partner to the Hylands Estate wedding experience Essex Stays were able to tell the Asiana guests about their luxury, private hire accommodation not far from Hylands Estate itself. Sleeping 14-18 adults, the venue is perfect to hire for weddings, or even milestone celebrations with family and friends. Greeting visitors at the entrance to Hylands House were Z Wedding Chauffeurs and Luxury Wedding Chauffeurs with a taster of their fleet of Rolls Royce Ghost Hire and Phantom Hire cars.

With the flexibility of our spaces – from the rooms in the House to the spacious and luxurious Grand Pavilion – there are so many ways to make your dreams come true. If you fancy a walk around the House and learning more about its history, you can join us on our monthly Open Estate Days (typically the third Sunday of the month) where our knowledgeable staff will be delivering tours of the House.
