The Grand Pavilion offers a contemporary space for your wedding meal and evening reception for up to 300 guests. This space provides the perfect blank canvas for your suppliers to bring your vision to life. With its own stylish bar, kitchen, modern toilets, and private outdoor area, you have everything you need to host your reception in style.
Room to Eat
Food is such a central part of the wedding experience, and we know how much planning and consideration goes into making sure your guests are catered for right up until the end. With fully-fitted well equipped kitchens across both Hylands House and the Grand Pavilion, food preparation by caterers from our accredited caterers list is easy, from trays of canapes to large banquets.
Sitting down to dinner or the wedding breakfast is made an enjoyable experience for everyone involved. There is plenty of space in our rooms to make serving and timings work like clockwork. All you need to do is sit, relax and enjoy with your family and friends.
Room to Dance
Whether it’s a traditional wedding, civil wedding, or wedding reception, the space of the elegant Grand Pavilion allows for plenty of room for dancing! The space is equipped to accommodate various styles of family entrances and introductions, first dances, and dinner with dancing. Exclusive Hire
There are endless opportunities to make your dream reception a reality, from spectacular Asian banquets to stylish Jewish receptions until the early hours. Hylands House and Grand Pavilion offers venue-only hire, with celebration spaces and internal furniture. We provide an extensive list of caterers accredited to work at Hylands House, ensuring that their expertise and in-depth knowledge of our venue, delivers the very best service and experience you wish for.
You may supply your own drinks free of charge through your selected caterer or bar company, who can operate a full drinks service from our stylish pavilion bar.
You have the flexibility to select your own suppliers such as decorators, photographers and cake makers to create a truly bespoke wedding.
Photo Opportunities
There are endless possibilities for your picture-perfect wedding photos including the Victorian Pleasure gardens, the One World Garden and 574 acres of park and woodland. Not forgetting the magnificent backdrop of Hylands House itself which is perfect for the family and friends group photo!
For more informal shots, there is room to hire your own photobooths situated in the Grand Pavilion.
Carriages at Midnight
Of course, some of your guests may wish to carry on into the early hours, helping you celebrate and make more memories. Additional hours to keep the party atmosphere going are available to purchase in advance, just let us know when you confirm your booking.
