Wedding Showcase Reflections

This September saw the launch of our Wedding Showcase, which promised to be an immersive event filled with incredible suppliers and inspiration around every corner. Its safe to say, we delivered on the promise!
Over 400 guests came along to enjoy the day with us, and our lucky couples grabbed themselves one of our sustainable goody bags before sipping cocktails on the back patio and listening to the mesmerising sound of Kapan Music’s steel pan.
Grand Wedding Cakes displayed one of their show-stopping floral cascade wedding cakes in the Grand Staircase Hall, and Chelmer Florist laced the bannisters with vibrant gladioli – it certainly was sight to behold!

J H Stationery kindly created our welcome signage in the Entrance Hall and were kept busy all day with excited couples looking to see how their stationery could be designed! Firework Crazy captivated their audience with videos of their spectacular firework displays on the back lawn. A mansion house wedding is never complete without a luxury wedding car, for this reason we knew Ali at AP Car Services would be able to help us out with his collection of chauffeur driven cars!
We were excited to show the Drawing Room with its higher capacity of 100 guests thanks to the new chivari chairs. Couples were also treated to the sounds of Ambient Venue Music playing violin in this romantic space. Familiar faces Camelia Flute & Harp Duo performed in the elegant Banqueting Room. A little further along, our new accommodation partners Essex Stays were busy booking couples a luxury overnight stay at their newly refurbished property.
The wedding suites were alive with bridal accessories by Chez Bec and Millinery by Vanessa Brett, our resident artists and La Closet de Chanel, an award winning bridesmaid boutique were rushed off their feet showcasing their multi-way dresses in a huge range of colours!
Our chosen décor company Design4Else really took hold of the design brief and made our dreams come true with the most amazing pink ombre explosion of dreamy décor! Teamed with Platinum Ace and Kiss Entertainment, the Grand Pavilion looked incredible! Spice Village offered tantalising tasters and we have to say that the mini spiced fish & chips were extraordinary!! Our lucky couples were also greeted by our photographer Affinity Q, our videographer Signature Media, and the lovely Sotonye at SD Wedding Management.
